In the previous blog(The defrost parameters in electric heater defrost type), we already discuss the defrost parameters defrost cycle, defrost time and defrost end temperature. Now, let us discuss the normal setting value and how to set it in a Dixell controller.
For the Cryo refrigeration unit, the default defrosts parameters setting are:
1) For medium temperature unit:
Defrost cycle=6 h
Defrost time=30 mins
Defrost end temperature=10 C
2) For low-temperature units:
Defrost cycle=4 h
Defrost time=30 mins
Defrost end temperature=10 C
The parameter’s value should be adjusted according to the local evaporator frost and defrost condition.
Now, take the XR06CX controller as an example, let us see how to set in a Dixell controller the defrost cycle parameter code is id. Defrost time is Md and defrost end temperature is dE.
Let us enter the menu by pressing the “up” and “SET” keys together for 3 seconds and the ℃ LED starts blinking.
Secondly, use the key “up or down” to select id and press “SET” to enter.
Thirdly, use the key “up or down” to change its value. And, press “SET” to save.
The defrost cycle id is setting. The Md and dE setting is the same as id.
Different prices for different customizations. Any size of cold room and requirements is acceptable.
